Medieval market in Aspe
There will be a Medieval Market in Aspe from the 17th to the 20st August 2017.
During these four days the Parque Dr. Calatayud will be transported back to Medieval times with stalls selling a selection of hand made goods such as ceramics, jewellery, decortations, soap, candles and bags.
Generally there are games and rides for the children, jesters, minstrels and juggling acts as well as falconry, donkeys and a mayhem of activities.
How about a typical Spanish village, a brilliant blue sky, and the real taste of sangria as an aperitif with gambas a la plancha or a nice piece of grilled meat.
It is no coincidence that this region has been named the third healthiest place in the world. The sound of crickets, the smell of lavender and wild thyme together with a fine wine and tapas, make living in Aspe and surrounding areas complete.
By the way, did you know that the Spanish people don’t need a reason to celebrate, they do so every day.
Aspe, a lovely town with all main amenities available, several supermarkets (like Mercadona, Aldi, Consum etc..) and the market day is on Tuesday and Thursday. This is a very busy place with quite a lot of buildings with character, a central park, a lovely church square and an indoor food market.
Aspe has many tradition views and during the summer large fiestas take place which are great to watch and be a part of. Every other year La Virgen De Las Nieves comes to aspe and she is the patron of the town.
