Historical Museum in Aspe
The Historical Museum of Aspe was founded in 1996 as “historiographic collection” and finally appointed museum by administration. Inside, there are two rooms: one for ethnology (corn, oil, wine and daily life) and other for archaeological heritage from several sites and private collections.
The Museum has pieces of paleolithic, bronze age, roman age, visigoths and medieval, and organize research awards each year.
The historical museum of Aspe is located in the building of the Social Centre, Casa “El Cisco” at Constitution Avenue number 42 in Aspe.
The opening to the public was a work of several years. Teachers in some schools and their students formed the basis of this museum. The result of this work was recognized by the Conselleria de Cultura in 1996 as a permanent collection. In December 1998, the museum opened its doors to the public.
Definitely worth once to visit.
The entrance is free.
